Dedicated individuals honored: Speed pin, Speed trophy and John Sørensen trophy awarded
Frank Larsen (pictured), Katarina Polster and Sofie Kragelund were all honored for their great volunteer efforts at this year’s general meeting. True to tradition, awards were handed out at this year’s AGM to special people who have made an extra voluntary contribution to the club. Frank Larsen (pictured) received a very special honor this year when he was awarded the club’s honorary pin. Frank started at the club as a youth player and went on to play as a skilled and committed member of the first team. Afterwards, it was natural for Frank to continue with board work, which he did right up until last year. “Frank has always been a huge asset to our club. He has made a huge effort for our 7’s tournaments and various youth events and he has worked hard behind the scenes. Frank is still active in the club in many areas, so congratulations to a true club man!
Sofie Kragelund was also honored when she received the John Sørensen trophy. Sofie received the award for her work in the youth department, where she has built an entire U8 team from nothing. Big and well-deserved congratulations!
This year the Speed trophy went to Katarina Polster , who is a very committed parent in the club and is part of the parent rugby concept, where she also makes a great effort.Katarine is always wearing the yes hat, and she does not hesitate to help out at youth competitions and 7s.It is really nice to have parents who support the club, and Katarine is especially one of them.Huge and well-deserved congratulations!
