The club held a well-attended general meeting on Friday 24 February, where in addition to reviewing the past year, discussions about the future and elections to the board, there was also an opportunity to honor and thank several of the club’s enthusiasts. The club has two traditional trophies that are awarded every year to people who do something extraordinary for the club. This year, the John Sørensen trophy went to Peter Jacobsen for his great efforts over many, many years. As youth officer, Peter does a great job for the club’s children and young people and their parents. The Speed trophy this year went to Mads Ladegaard, who has played for the club since he was 7 years old, but has been affected by several injuries throughout his career. However, this has not kept him away from the club. Instead, he has made a great effort as a coach for the club’s youngest age groups. We would also like to thank Frank Larsen, who after more than three decades (!) on the club’s board has chosen not to continue as clubhouse manager. Henning Pihl has been elected instead. Congratulations to him. The evening saw several changes in the board. Malte Madsen resigned as men’s senior manager after 2.5 years on the board. He will be replaced by Graham Klusener. Jeppe Holm also chose to step down as Head of Communications after 2.5 years on the board. He will be replaced by Anders Mindstrup. Therese Veng also chose to step down as Women’s Officer after one year on the board. She will be replaced by Linda Cecilie. The new board is as follows: Chairman Arne Jørgensen Treasurer Claus Beck Secretary Cecilie Molander Pihl-Mortensen Men’s Officer Graham Klusener Women’s Officer Linda Cecilie Youth Officer Peter Jacobsen Clubhouse Officer Henning Pihl-Mortensen
