On Saturday, Speed XV travel to Aarhus, where Aaarhus Rugby Klub awaits in the penultimate first division match of the year. It’s a crucial match for the men’s team, who need a win to keep their gold medal dream alive ahead of their final match of the season against Frederiksberg. After a narrow defeat to Frederiksberg in the first game, Speed are currently in second place in the playoffs with 11 points, while Frederiksberg leads with 16 points. However, Frederiksberg has played one more game than Speed, which is why a Speed victory over Aarhus will set the stage for a real final on October 26 in Frederiksberg. However, with a win, Aarhus can secure bronze medals one round early if they manage to beat Speed. Therefore, the stage is set for a good duel at Ark-park.
