True to tradition, we paid tribute and honored a number of players in connection with this year’s young versus old.
This year the awards went to:
Top scorer of the year (Finn Hugo Award): Dimitria Tove Lundquist-Augoustinou, who scored 332 points in the Speed jersey

This year’s Finn Hugo Award, named after the former scoring machine Finn Hugo, honors the year’s top scorer. In 2024, it was Dimitra Lundquist-Augoustinou with 332 points.
Fighter of the Year (women): Anni Steffensen
Fighter of the Year on the women’s side this year went to Anni Steffensen, who has been fighting for the team in a period, where there has been many players gone, but also where there has been a rebuilding period.

Congratulations to Anni on the well-deserved award!

Fighter of the Year (Men): Brendan Ekstein

On the men’s side, the Fighter of the Year award went to a player who has been part of the team for many years, but continues to give his all on and off the field.

He is a good buddy who takes care of new players, but is also a link to previous generations.

He leads the way inside the chalk lines, where he is a true warrior.

Congratulations to Brendan Ekstein
Talent of the year (men): Rasmus Brofeldt
Despite his young age, Rasmus Brofeldt has become a regular starter on the prop-position in recent years. He started his career in the second row, but has quickly developed into a skilled first row player.

His dedication, development and talent were honored with the Men’s Talent of the Year award
Player of the Year (Men): Federico Haedo
Last year, Danish-Argentinean Fede joined the team, and from day one he has been a big contributor on and off the pitch. Off the pitch, he’s been leading the way for the team to enjoy a barbecue in the form of Argentinian asados.

But that’s not why Fede won the Player of the Year award. He did this because he always leads from the front. He has tactical acumen, deep insight into the game of rugby, and he always goes the extra mile in the big matches.

So a very well-deserved award for Federico as Player of the Year 2024!
