It is with great sadness that we have received the news that longtime club member and former board member Brian Elmegaard passed away during the night between Saturday and Sunday after a long illness with cancer. Brian was a skilled rugby player, but also a passionate person who has been on the board for many years and not least made our traditional 7’s tournament work for years. In the late 1990s, Brian became one of Speed Bladet’s two editors. Subsequently, Brian was the successful architect behind the transformation of Speed Bladet into our, then new, website in the 00’s. Brian will be buried in Toksværd Church (Dystedvej 1, 4684 Holmegaard) on Friday, October 11 at 11 am. The club sends thoughts to the bereaved. Honoring Brian’s memory
